An Act of Trust
Every meaningful project begins long
before certainty arrives.
Before there are drawings.
Before prototypes.
Before plans become objects.
Someone chooses to believe.
Not because success is guaranteed.
Not because the outcome is known.
But because something feels worth
pursuing.
Tactum Solis exists because of a series of
such moments.
One of the earliest belonged to Andrius
Bogdanavicius.
What began as a commission gradually
became a conversation.
What began as a conversation became a
shared belief that these ideas deserved a
future.
Years passed.
Projects evolved.
Questions multiplied.
Yet the trust remained.
One Frame
The development of the Tactum Solis case
required numerous iterations.
Different profiles, lug geometries, and
construction methods were explored before
arriving at the final architecture.
A key objective was to create a frame
capable of accepting different central
modules whilepreserving the overall
character of the watch.
The ergonomic aspects were equally
important.
Multiple prototypes were modelled, 3D
printed, assembled with straps, and worn
during everyday use.
Each version provided practical feedback
that influenced the next revision.
The inner case structure was shaped to
follow the natural curve of the wrist,
improving comfort during extended wear.
The arched lugs were designed to embrace
the wrist securely and help maintain a
stable position throughout the day.
The resulting construction combines
modularity with long-term wearability,
allowing the frame to remain while different
hearts may be introduced
over time.
Every model in the Tactum Solis collection
is also
an interchangeable module. One case
accepts them all.
Each module can be acquired separately
and changed by the owner at any time
using the dedicated tool included with
every purchase.

Atelier
A place behind the work
Tactum Solis is created in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
Far from the traditional centers of watchmaking.
What began as curiosity gradually became a craft.
Each watch starts long before metal is cut or parts
are assembled.
It begins with observation, sketches, experiments,
and countless small decisions.
The atelier is not only a workspace.
It is where ideas are tested, abandoned,
rediscovered, and slowly given form.
Every piece carries traces of that process.
Not only the finished object, but the path that led
to it.
